Description

Casa Familia is a spacious ground-floor apartment in Voelklip, one of the most sought-after corners of Hermanus. It has its own private entrance and a front patio with a braai looking out to the ocean, and the beach and cliff paths are a four-minute walk away.

Please note: Casa Familia is only available from the beginning of November to the end of March each year.

The living room, dining room and kitchen run together in one bright, open space, decorated with a homely touch and set up properly for self-catering. The kitchen has a gas hob, an extractor and a breakfast bar, and the dining table seats eight. Uncapped fibre Wi-Fi runs throughout.

Outside, the paved terrace runs the width of the apartment with a braai, a gas fire pit and dining for eight, looking over the lawn to the sea. The mountains sit behind the building, so you get both from the same spot.

The Neighbourhood

Voelklip beach is a short walk over, with Blue Flag Grotto Beach also close by. There are two restaurants within walking distance, and the long beach walkway gives you mountain views in one direction and the bay in the other. It is an easy, quiet base for families, with Fernkloof Nature Reserve and the Hermanus cliff path both a few minutes away.
