The Cabin is a comfortable wooden cabin in the peaceful seaside village of Onrus River. It is a relaxed, no-frills holiday home and a good base for families who want to be close to the beach, the shops and everything else along this stretch of coast.

It is honest about what it is. The accommodation is basic but comfortable, easy to live in, and set up for people who would rather be outside than fussing over a house.

The Braai Room and the Hot Tub

The spacious indoor braai room is the heart of the cabin, built around a big brick fireplace that works as both a braai and a fire to sit around when the weather turns. It means you can braai properly whatever the wind is doing outside.

The enclosed back garden is the other draw. It has a lawn, a covered patio, sun loungers and string lights, and a wood-fired hot tub to sink into after a day at the beach.

The Neighbourhood

Onrus River is a quiet village with a beach, a lagoon and a tidal pool, all within easy reach. The cliff paths and restaurants of Hermanus are a short drive, and Vermont and Sandbaai are just along the coast.
